Like most people, I thought that self-defence was about learning physical skills to deal with potential attackers. However, after many years of training in the physical side of self-defence, I realised that the core of self-defence is actually about knowing how to avoid dangerous situations, how to spot the signs that a situation is developing, how to de-escalate a situation, and as a last resort, how to physically deal with a situation. This led me to the guidance of some of the best coaches around, and it is their approach and knowledge that Influence the delivery of the classes.

  1. Do we have gradings?

    No, we don't have gradings, ranks etc.

    The grading and rank is you as an individual based on progress made, in terms of knowledge, skills, growth and applying this in practical use.

  2. What's the payment structure?


    Very simple, its pay as you go. No contracts or directs debits.


  3. Do I need to buy a club uniform?

    No. We do have a club T-shirt for something to train in, but that's optional.

  4. Do I need any prior experience?

    No prior experience is needed. Our training is adapted to any age range, gender, fitness and physical abilities.

  5. Do you provide kids classes?

    We don't provide regular kids classes, however, kids private sessions are available one to one or a small group, age range 5 to 16 years. For more info please contact us.
